Hello from Chesapeach!

Hi - I'm new to CC and a recently diagnosed type 2 diabetic.  I just finished my diabetes education class and was told I need to keep a log of my food, blood sugar and activity for at least the next two months.  I was looking for nutrional information on Google and found this site.  What better way to track my food intake than here.  I was so excited.  Just curious if there is anywhere I can keep track of my blood sugar levels on here.

I work in IT as an applications trainer, am married with three teenagers and two dogs.

I look forward to reading the posts and participating in the forums.

Hello and welcome to Calorie Count!
I am so glad you found us.

To my knowledge there is not a place in the food log that you can track that information,  however, you can use your journal for that sort of thing.
If you need more info on how journals work, let me know.  (you can set privacy levels so noone can read it but you; if you do nothing, it is a public journal by default).

There are many members who use CC to control their diet and diabetes.
I did a quick search of the forums and found several active threads.

I am sure you will find someone who can give you even better ideas on how they utilize CC to help them even more!

Again, welcome.
It's a pleasure to meet you.

Thank you, mcderin, so much for the threads, there were definitely "a few."   I'll try the journal.  It's a good place to track how I'm feeling also.

Smile
