Hello,

Joined today as i am having big problems with my weight :(

Last year i lost 7 stone and felt great but have put it all back on and im gutted and very down about it.

I have always been big but after a having womb cancer and a hystorectomy 2 years a go i decided being 27 stone was not good, lost the weight and did the race for life ok i walked it but to walk 3 miles was amazing for me ! i joined a gym and was enjoying it all until hubby was made redundant and we could not afford the gym :( the added stress has sent me back to food again and my back is killing me :(

I would love a friend to help me but there is no one around here and i have no friends, i dont know why as im a friendly person and easy to get on with.

Hubby is also very over weight being a lorry driver doesnt help him.

We do have allotments and a big garden and 5 dogs so we are not lazy and always on the go.

Im so down right now its getting to the stage i dont want to wake up anymore Cry

hello!! just wanted to let you know that you came to the right place. I haven't been here much or posted but lurked. I hope you find the motivation here to start getting healthy!! I'm always here if you need someone to talk to :]

Hi,

You are def in teh right place here, there;s lots of support and advice available and I find just entering everything I eat really keeps me focused.  It's surprising what you eat in a day that you don't really realise!!

I have gained weight in the last few years and want to loose it and keep it off.  I have joined a lcoal gym in the last month, but to be honest beofre that I was lifting baked bean tins to work my arms (don't know the name of the muscles) and did 'step' on the stairs of our house.  One of my best excercise routines is free and it's power walking... getting a real march on and swinging my arms - it's great how much you can achieve with a little inventiveness.

Fresh food is really easy to find if you go to the market at the endof the day, my market is always selling off veg by the scoop for a pound, so makes life a little easier..

Hope this helps in some way... I'm sure others will have much more advice and guidance for you....

Keep going, you will get trim again.....

Hi, as a friend of mine said when she was depressed- there's no point trying to get out of the hole until you've hit rock bottom. It seems to me you have, perfect time to start climbing girl!

You have a husband who loves you Im sure, you have five dogs who love you even moreLaughing plus you live in England which is the greatest country in the world to me,lol. I spent five years in London, loved it.

Start seeing the good things, start counting your calories and your friends on this site, because people are really nice here. Read some of the posts to keep you motivated, browse the galleries to see pictures before and after-that really helps me.

Life is bloody marvellous darling, don't waste it!

Thanks all,

I have been logging my food and even managed a 20 min walk yesterday with hubby and the dogs :)

Im very tired today and a bit weepy but im sticking to it, lost 2 pounds since Monday afternoon so that cheered me up !

I feel more down that i put back all but 2 stone of the 7 stone i lost last year !! i could murder myself for being soo stupid !

Cant afford the gym but have found some free health walks run localy so im going to try to go on one of them next week.

Thanks for the support :)
