Hello, Everybody! Im new & need to loose 70ish lb!
Hello, my name is Ellie!
Im 31, married for three years, 5'3 and weigh massive 203lb!!! I need to lose around 70lb, I think, to be at my healthy weight.
I work evenings in catering in the hotel, and my full time job is being a mum to three lovely boys Dominick 4, Adam 3, and Benjamin 1.
When Ben was 10 days old he did have a very scary whooping cough. He spent three weeks in hospital and we almost lost him. When he was about 6 months old doctors suspect he had epilepsy. He suffered with fts & convulsions... So as you can see there was lots of worries for me and I forgot about myself concentrated on my little family. In the last 6 months I put on 35lb.
Now Ben s a healthy boy, there's no epilepsy only febrile fits (which is when body can't cope with a high fever) which he will grow out of t by the time he's 5. Anyway I can now concentrate on my weight loss and be healthy and strong for my family. Im very proud of them and I wan't them to be proud of me.
I hope together we can lose our weight. Thank you for your time to read it, sorry its a bit long and boring.
Good luck everyone!

Hi Ellie,
My name is Laura and I am 44, married 10 years and have 6 children, 21, 20, 18 and a 9 year old set of triplets. My first three were spaced apart just like yours. I am glad your son is doing better and life with 3 kids is never boring.
I have gained and lost the same 20 pounds for several years and my kids are making fat comments so I have to either lose the weight for good or snap their little heads off and well obviously that is not an option. They are just being honest.
I weigh 195 lbs and want to get to 135 lbs so I have 60lbs to lose. One of my daughters is having brain surgery in a couple weeks and since finding this out a couple months ago I have not been very good about my diet or exercising.
Good luck and keep entering your food and activities!
Laura
Hi to Ellie & Laura,
I too need to lose about 70lbs. God was kind enough to bless me with faulty scales while I was at my heaviest. (I am guessing over 300lbs!) I am 5"11 so I can go up or down 20lbs and not change a pants size. It has taken me over a year to get down into the 220 region.
I made a serious commitment to PROPER diet and Exercise for the rest of the year. I applaud all of us for doing what we can to get healthy!
We all KNOW there are other people out there struggling just like us. That said, it is really nice to be able to share and chat with those people as well.
I am amazed at how much better I didn't realize I could feel each day!
Stay in touch.
Diana
