Hi everyone... My name is Jehn, I have a 2.5 year old daugther and a 7 week old daughter.
I am currently breastfeeding but not planning to continue much longer as I have had a hard time keeping up my supply and have been supplementing anyway. My baby seems to prefer the bottle and I am not really enjoying it as much as I did with my first - who I nursed for 2 months exclusively and supplemented with formula for two more months.
I have been married for 4 1/2 years and am currently about 30lbs above the weight I was at that time - when I still felt comfortable in my own skin. I did drop back down to that weight after my first with the help of the Dr. Bernstein diet. It was expensive and I ended up gaining back about 15 out of the 35lbs I lost in the 6 weeks I was on the diet.
I am 13lbs above my pre-pregnancy weight currently and having a hard time losing the last bit without dieting. Despite hitting the gym every day for an hour I don't seem to be doing anything but gaining back some muscle strength and endurance - which is great but I am feeling awfully flabby and with the heat of summer I am finding that I would rather spend most days inside instead of out in the sunshine because I am too ashamed of my body to wear light clothes.
Anyway that's a little about me and why I am here... Looking forward to being a part of caloriecount and hopefully losing some extra weight!!
