Hello, my name is Lindsay and I just joined the group about 2 days ago. I am 33 years old. I am married ( almost 12 years ) and have 1 son that is 5 going on 16..lol My weight loss journey started almost 2 years ago, In December I was watching the Biggest Loser and got inspired. I have always been overweight and it was hard for me to lose it due to medical issues. For some reason this time was different I started eatting healthy, writing everything I ate down and exercising 5 days a week. I starting seeing results very quickly. In May of 2008 I had emergency surgery to have my gallbladder removed and was laid up for 6 weeks. But still watched what I ate and was able to not gain. After losing 95 lbs I was so happy. Well we have recently moved away from my family, which my mother was my biggest support on this journey, I have gained 10lbs back and have found it hard to stay on track. I am not being consistant with my exercising and I am going back to old habits of snacking. I am so scared of gaining all the weight back. I have not got support here to stay on track. My husband says I am obessive and believes I need not to worry, but I do. Well I guess I will quit rambling now and hope everyone has a great weekend. Take care.
I know what its like to get off track. I am very good at the exercise part, but the eating part is a rollercoaster. 2 days I do terrific, 3 I do horribly and so on and so forth. Sorry that you had to move away from your mom. What kind of support was she giving you? Maybe you can stay in touch via email and you can report your progress to her. Also, if you fall, get up and keep going....never give up.
