Hello everyone!

I've just joined this group and I thought I would introduce myself.   My name is Vicky, I am 25 and currently weigh 12 stone 8.5lbs.  I am 5'2 and would like to get my weight down to 9 stone.  I was a member of Weight Loss Resources which is much the same of this site but charges nearly £50 for 6 months so I decided to find a cheaper alternative, which is when I came accross this site.  I have only been on my weight loss journey for a month so far, and lost 5.5lbs.  I am not working at the moment, which sucks :(.  I live on my own near Cardiff.  I joined this group because a lot of the forums seem to be very American, which is not necessarily a bad thing but I wondered if there were British people here too :o).

Well, that's about it I suppose.  :D

Good to see you Vicky from another ex-WLRer LOL, I hope you have success here :-)

Hi Vicky,

I live in Cwmbran ..so looks like a bit of a Welsh group on here! My weight loss aims are very similar to yours I am 5'4" and 12st 10lb so I will be interested in staying in touch and comparing notes with you.

Good luck with the months ahead and the weight loss to come

Linda

Ah Linda my nickname may have confused you Laughing, I actually live in East Anglia (although heading to Machynlleth for a weeks holiday next Saturday!)

Hi Linda, nice to meet you :D

I would be interested in staying in touch too. My internet connection is a bit sketchy at the moment so I don't get on here as often as I would like though.

I have had a really terrible week this week - cheated bad with food and done hardly any exercise. I am feeling it too - I feel tired and sluggish - why do we do this to ourselves?! Anyway, I will have to be extra good this week! I weigh in on a Monday - do you have a set weigh-in day?

Vicky

Hi Vicky,

My weigh in day is Sunday so we are not far from each other. Even since I started this yesterday it has become quite clear to me by being really honest with inputting everything I eat why I am not losing weight!!!

I hope your week is geting better and catch up soon

Linda
