Hi Angela,
Good for you on quitting!!!! Bravo! I quit a year ago March 18th. March is a good month to quit. Quitting will make you a better wife and mother it will make you feel so much better....health and mental!
Just be proud of yourself and know that your being a great example for those beautiful children.
CC has been and will continue to be a huge help to myself and my husband. I have gone from 180 lbs in Jan to 160 as of last week.
The 14 lbs you gained when you quit smoking is pretty good.....you could have gained more. Know that your metabolism has slowed down since you quit smoking. If you eat nutrient dense foods and exercise 5-6 days out of the week you will see your metabolism rev back up. Being able to breath better is worth the 14 lbs for a while.....you will take it back off. If you made up your mind to quit smoking you will make up your mind to lose the 14 lbs.
To quit smoking you have to be strong......being that strong you can do anything you put your mind to.
