Hello, I'm new!

I just wanted to introduce myself.  My name is Dana.  I'm 34 weeks, 2 days pregnant.  I'm due with my first child, a girl,  on July 19.  I just heard about this site last week.  I have gained 36 pounds my whole pregnancy so far.

I decided to join so I can better track what I eat and can hopefully make better choices for the remainder of my pregnancy and get off to a good start after the baby is born.  Plus, I caught a glimpse of my rear end yesterday and just realized how much I've gained in my butt & thighs, yikes!!  Pregnancy is definitely a full-body experience.

Hi Dana!  Welcome to CC! :)

I'm 28 weeks, 3 days, and I just started tracking my calories again.  I reached my goal weight, then got pregnant again.  LOL!  Good luck with everything, and congrats on your baby girl. :)  If you have any questions about the site, feel free to ask. :)
hi mamagirl!  You're due a day earlier than I am!  I'm 34 weeks, 1 day!!!  Can you belive the time has flown by?  You should join the pregnant healthy baby me group on this forum if you did not already.  This has been a total Body experience.  I woke up from my nap and saw that my boobs started leaking.  What's up with that??!!!  yikes!!!!!  I'm having a girl too- my first as well!!!

Congrats on your babies, girls! Your life is about to CHANGE! I didn't gain too much weight with my first. I gained a little more weight with my twins. Then I lost another set of twins prematurly. So, I gained alot of weight after that. Then with this last pregnancy (she's eight weeks old now), it was so emotionally hard, I gained alot of weight. So now I am trying to get back to a healthy weight.

I think it is great that you guys are getting things under control before that baby comes. This way, you may feel a little more in control of your lives once your little bundle of joy arrives. Good nutrition is very important during pregnancy and right after too. It will help you thru the long days and nights to have a healthy diet.

Best of luck!
