I had quit smoking about 7 days ago. I had gotten the flu and really was not in the mood to smoke then so I decided to quit all together. I still have alot of the withdraw symptoms , especially in the morning. I tried to give up drinking coffee in the morning too but I think it's too much to try to give up 2 nasty habits at once. It's great to have a support group and people to respond who may be in the same situation as you, it sure beats writting in a journal or talking to my husband who never had a cigarette in his life. I just wanted to say congratulations! It is always hard for other people who have never smoked to know what you are going through. You really are through the hardest part, though..once you get through that first week, it gets better every day from then on.
