Hello, My name is Katie and I'm a CCaholic
Am I the only one who looks up calorie-count mobile on her phone while eating or before she even eats?
I hope not..I'd feel bad :(
lol. nop. this is my 3rd day on cc... already hooked...
Nope, I think about everything I put in.
I wish I was addicted to calorie counting, I'm actually hoping to get there. What I am is a guilt freak, I feel guilty about everything I put in my mouth, even when its bad... sometimes I still shove it in lol.
I love CC because I love planning out my days. I enjoy having structure and knowing exactly what I'm going to do for the rest of the day. When I enter in my breakfast I plan out my entire day, including lunch, dinner, and make sure I add some little snacks because I know I'll want some at various times over the day.
Once I do that, I don't even think about calories again for the rest of the day. I used to be plagued with guilt because I didn't know if certain foods would work in my calorie count, or I had no idea what the count was.... CC helps me alleviate that guilt because I know what I'm eating is OK.
i have become the walking calorie database for my boyfriend...now he just asks me..hey i am eating this..how many calories do u think it is...and i have an answer!! i am buying a blackberry really really soon...why? cos i want to be able to check CC right before i go to a restaurant... :) this site is addictive!
I am a total CCaholic!! The calorie part and the forums. I love calorie counting because I love structure and planning and I must admit, I am a little bit of a math nerd. I love working everything out and figuring out how many calories I can have.
I also love that I can basically eat whatever I want (in moderation) because if I really want something, I just eat it, log it, and work it out so that I'm still under my calorie limit for the day. Nothing is off limits! :)
How to i fix that :(
You are not the only one who feels guilty. People are confused. It is not just all about the calories. If you are truly interested in health and fitness it is about the kind of foods you are putting in your body. The saying you are what you eat is true. You need to fuel your body like a machine for optimal results and performance. Not that you have to be a complete fanatic but you should think about everything you put in and make sure it is healthy and nourishing. Clean eating is the key. Fresh whole foods, complex carbs, healthy fats, whole grains and so on. Not that you can never have a cookie or ice cream again but it should be a treat once a week or so instead of a daily thing. When you give your body the food it needs you will be amazed at the results. So many people think they can eat the chips, junk, cookies and so on and as long as it is under your calorie allowance for the day you will be OK. That might be true if your only goal is to loose weight but if you want to be strong, tone and healthy you go for quality and watch the calories.
