I am new to this site and it looks like it could really help me in my goal to lose weight and change my lifestyle.

A few things about me:

My name is Jaime.
I'm 30 years old.
I live in Canada.
I'm married with two children ages 2 and 7; a boy and a girl
My fav colour is blue.
My fav snack is chips (I guess I will have to change that!)
My fav beverage is pop (I drink Diet Rite (Splenda) pop now though)
My biggest obstacle to getting healthy is my addiction to food and excessive eating.
I weigh 187 lbs and I would like to eventually weigh 140 lbs.
I'm a large-boned 5'2".
Coconut Princess is a name my hubby calls me Smile

So far I have been writing in the Journal and I've found it helpful.  The Journal and the Food Log help me be accountable.  I really hope this will help me lose the weight, I'm pretty tired of trying everything and not sticking to it. 

I really want to do this.

hi jaime. i'm sarah. also 30 and from canada. i'm a single mom of 3. 177 trying to get around 155lbs. 5'9". i really want to do this too. good luck to both of us

Seems we have pretty much the same weight issue and goal.  135 would be great! I use to weigh that! lol

I would love 135 again the site says I need to be at like 119 but a 135 I start looking sick feel good but people think I am to small i am hoping this time when I get to 135 It is muscle mostly last time i was there still had more belly than I wanted then I got married had two kids and got all the extra lbs back. Man my husband helped me make lots of bad food choices and so did my job but i stay home with the kids now so I just have to watch the snacking all day LOL but I have noticed this site keeps me honest I put my food in before I eat it so then I know what I will have left after I eat it. I have cut alot out of my diet just from doing that. Still have alot to learn but maybe we can learn toghether.
