Hello from Ohio

I am Gail Wolff. I am married for 31 years. I have 2 grown sons. One in Ohio, he is married, 2 children ( a boy and a girl and their ages are 4 and 3). My daughter-in-law is a nursing student. My son is looking for another job, but it is hard right now. But he keeps putting in resumes and I keep praying for him. My other son lives in LA. He is a script coordinator for the show "Rita Rocks." He loves living out in CA and has a lot of great friends from Ohio there too! 

I am a compulsive overeater, food addict and a codependent. It has taken me a long time to become abstinent for really find what it meant and then do it. It is coming slowing by disposing of my trigger foods one by one. 

I have learned through the OA and The 12 Steps that I was lacking on one of the major key points in the whole program .... spiritual. God has shown me that he loves me unconditionally by bringing me to the program and my sponsor. 

He has showed me that I have to work on my marriage with communication and not calming up or yelling or screaming like I was taught. Right now, we are going to counseling and I am willing to listen and apply what I hear and learn. 

Learning and growing each day! That's the name of the beast.
