ok...i hope i enter enough info for someone out there to answer...cause im stymied. my maintenance calorie intake is 2950 per day. i have been eating around 2100 calories per day. i have been excercising, both cardio and weight training 6 days per week...the 7th day i usually just ride the bike wile i read the paper..nothing heavy. the calorie calculator has me burning 800 calories per day doing the excercises..so....shouldnt i be losing weigt!! 800 x 6 IS 4800....SO THAT ALONE IS OVER A LB. , RIGHT? and the intake deficit is approx. 800 per day.so that is 800 X 7 is 5600...so that is over a lb. what am i doing wrong...i havent lost a lb. in months!! and quite frankly, since the last time i posted about this, maybe a week or so ago i wont weigh myself until this weekend...any help or answers or advice..(just to add some other stuff...i was around 320 lbs. aug 06, im now at 220...ive got another 50 or so to go)thanks D

the weight training is building muscle. muscle is heavier than fat. The fat you are losing is being replaced by muscle. The muscle is smaller that the fat you are losing, so you could be losing inches but not pounds.
thanks...but im still 50 lbs. overweight...wouldnt i have to lose this fat before anything else.or am i building muscle underneath this fat...
You probably need to lower your calorie intake a little because the muscle does weight a lot more than the fat hince you are building muscle that out weighs the fat you are losing. Or cut back on the exercise a little.
