Help! I can't decide! (Father's Day Question)

My dad is a real cool hip guy. He's a musician and he loves all sorts of movies and music. His favorite show is the X-Files, he's always borrowing my movies, he likes just about everything.

SO, I'm having trouble deciding what to get him for Father's Day. We're having a big pot-luck brunch at my sister's house and so I need to get whatever I get really soon. I procrastinated :(

Anyway, so far my top two choices are a Roy Orbison & Friends performance DVD or the Indiana Jones Trilogy box set

but I was wondering if anyone else had some suggestions. And also if you want post what you're getting for the dad in your life!

My dad's birthday was last week and I got him Sirius radio.  He absolutely LOVED IT.  Anyone who likes music or talk radio or pretty much ANY kind of entertainment...its perfect for em.

If it were me, I'd get him the Indiana Jones Box Set :)

you're right! Besides I just found out that Orbison dvd isn't available anywhere without backordering for like, a week! It's a shame, really. I saw it on PBS last week and it's a really cool concert - Tom Waits, Elvis Costello, Springsteen...

besides, Indiana Jones does rock. And then I can bug him and make him let me borrow them.

If it is between those two, indiana jones for sure!!! If he likes x-files, he might like the first season of 4400, but not sure if it is on shelfs yet.

if he's always borrowing your DVD'd, maybe get him a subscription to NetFlicks....that way he get new ones whenever he wants

But I should mention that I got a satellite radio in March and the men do love it.  I've got about 200 channels and a bunch of sports and talk and news -- that would make it a great gift for dad.

I think I'm probably going to get my dad a tap set, since he wanted it.  (Taps being the tools you use to make the threads inside a hole)
