Help!! I cant stop eating with 12lbs to go...
Have lost quite a few lbs so far by cutting down on the amount of food i ate and for a while i was really strict with my calorie counting but thats it.
I dont exercise- certainly dont work out at the gym or anything!! and i occasionally splurge on naughty food as i used to always binge eat.
The last 12lbs i have to go are stubborn ones. Am feeling good about my body compared to what it was like and i think that has made me get lethargic about weight loss now.
What shall i do, has anyone else been here too?
Wat exercising is good for an exercise allergic person like me??

Every time I have hit a plateu in my weight lost I go back and look at my eating habits. How much fat , how many carbs, how much protein. I then change up my diet by reducing my fat in take if needed or increasing my protien and reducing carbs or the opposite of increasing carbs and less protein. Some times I also do a slight increase in the amount of calories it take in and it helps. Your body adjust to the amount of food your taking in so increasing the amount for a short period will cause it to readjust, you can then cut calories again. Has for exercise I started walking twice a day for my breaks at work I go 1 mile each time and the best part is that it gets me out of the office for 15 minutes. If you happen to have a dog take it for a walk in the evenings, you'll get the benefit of the exercise and the dog will love it, mine do. Good luck with those last 12 pounds. I've lost 27 so far and would like to lose 57 more. It's not easy to do but I do feel better because of it.
Ooh thanks, sounds a bit complicated with increasing protein and carbs etc. I have no idea how much of each food group i'm eating just count cals... maybe thats where im going wrong?!
Are workout dvds any good as an exercise??

any type of activity is good for you especially if you don't like exercising. walking, taking the stairs instead of elevator, even just doin chores around the house will help. don't be lazy! u've come so far, you can keep going. definitely try a workout video, you can get free ones borrowed from the library. burning fat doesnt necessarily mean doing a crazy workout like running or something. u can burn fat by doing routines like in the workout videos that target specific areas, and won't cause you to be totally out of breathe.
also, in your food diet, try to cut down on sugars and carbs b/c carbohydrates essentially is sugar broken down, and sugar converts to fat in your body. try to eat more dense foods like protein as it will make you fuller, and a lot of veggies as those are low in cals and will make u full too if u eat enougH! after you ate all that and your still hungry? eat a fruit. try not to eat too much fruit in a day as it is high in sugar. and i think your body doesnt care where the sugar is from, it recognizes sugar in the same form no matter where it comes from. but at least if you eat fruit it is a natural sugar versus junk food which has a lot of other added components that you probably don't want ot eat like a lot of salt etc.
oh ya too much salt is bad too cuz ti causes your body to have water retention, which means you'll have water weight... to get rid of water weight, watch how much salt you take in, and drink lots of fluids... they don't say drink 8 glasses of water for nothing. it really helps flush out the excess salt and clean ur system. sweating of any form in sauna or exercise flushes out salt too!
so in conclusion, everything in moderation, don't cut out any type of food completely b/c if you do then you'll get crazy cravings eventually,(which ihave experienced) and then binge on it when u get a chance. if you must have some junk, just have a treat but don't eat the entire box/bag! at least you get some and not none :) excess of anything, junkfood, sugar, salt, carbs etc is always bad. & last but not least, never give up!
