help me! too much eating!

hi, I need serious help im 15 female and i weigh roughly 134 but because i lost a few pounds a little ago but i'm afraid because lately ive been eating alot! As in alot of food in a short period of time and i'm afraid it might be some kind of disorder or something. It wont even be because im hungry but because the food is there. for example ill get home and nobody will be there so ill just eat whatever's around and i feel really bad because im trying to start losing weight again but i dont know what to do! and ive realized i dont know when to stop eating. It's as if i dont know what being "full" feels like. i hate this so much! and my self esteem is below the floor low. has anyone else have any sort of problem like this??? help me please!!!!!!!!!

im fifteen too and i know exactly what your talking about. check out my journal, thats the plan im using and you could try it. Its pretty easy to follow, ive been on it for a week and i already lost 2 pounds. by the way, you said your 134? thats below my goal wieght! your just fine, trust me. Since were teenagers, its likely that stress (Hw and tests) and growing can add to our eating habits. But, overeating is my problem too. its gunna be ok! Smile

well see.. im short im 4'11" thats why my weight is such a problem for me and it's always been. im so scared and overeating is becoming a huge problem and i dont really knwo who to talk to about it. it doesn't help either that all my friends and school people are ridiculously thin and what not. i sure hope it is =\

ok, well just try really hard to stick to a diet that youve made. Check out my journals (my diet is on there) and see if that diet would work for you. its not that hard to stick to.  plus, excersize is really important! it will help with burning off wieght already gained.

I used to be like that, I hated it when there was new food in the cupboards cause I'd have to resist eating them. I also found that when I was bored I seem to munch more, so try find things to do. =) Also, if you train yourself not to eat so much you'd feel full a lot more because your stomach has shrunk.

I understand. I am a boredom eater.  One thing I've done since joining CC is going online and calculating each meal before I eat it.  Try that.  It really makes me think about what I'm eating and then when I see what my total for the day is going to be, I make a decision as to how to adjust. When I did it with my dinner last night I decided to skip the tuna sandwich and stick to just a salad.  Of course, I did it so I could snack later. Laughing  Good luck.  Food journalling might not work for you but it does for me.
