HELP! Fell off the wagon BIG TIME

Quote  |  Reply
It's amazing how I can lie to myself to get what I want in the short-term!

I was just away on a tour of Boston with my college singing group and so I went off my "diet" (LIFESTYLE!  I'll be there soon) for a week.  I gained a pound and a half, but then when I got back, it was my birthday, so I gave myself a binge day and ate (and DRANK) everything in sight.  Then it was Passover, so only certain foods are allowed in my kitchen, and then (get this) I told myself, "Now's a great time to give your metabolism a kick-start.  Get it to think you're off the diet and you'll start losing quickly again!  EAT WHATEVER YOU WANT!"

So I did.

And I gained.

So, 2 weeks (GASP!) after I went off, I'm trying to get back on.  I had egg beaters with fresh spinach, pizza sauce, and mozzarella this morning for a protein-filled 173 calories...

PLEASE help me with motivation!!  Graduation is in 3 weeks!

well.. now your metabolism is nice and reved from your experiment (<---sarcasm) hehehe.. :)  that just sounded like something i would have thought or done.. haghaha.. :)

anyway.. you're off to a good start.. that breakfast sounded yummy and low cal and great protein.. just keep it up and the pounds will start to melt away in no time!  :)

and welcome back.. :)
Thanks, Obsidyan!

I made it through lunch with a can of tuna, a chopped up pickle, and some light mayo- 438 cals for the day so far.  It's HARD to get back on- I'm out of the habit, so I pick things up and think to eat them and then remember- I HAVE TO LOG THAT!

Yikers... I'll never go off again!  I promise!
mmmm.. i need to go make some lunch.. i wasn't sure what iwas going othave but it might have to be tuna.. :)
