Help! How do i figure out what my deficit should be?

Quote  |  Reply

Im a little confused with all the calculations on here and how to figure out what my calorie deficit should be. My caloric intake says it should be 1961 and i dont even come close to it lately, i've been averaging around 1200-1400. I do Bikram Yoga 4 days a week and 2 days a week I Tap dance for 3hrs non-stop, so on a daily average im burning at least 1400 cals on top of what it computes on here, and Im burning somewhere around 2000 + cals a day (i think). What should my deficit be (and how do i figure it out) and is my daily caloric intake too low, and is that why i've stopped losing?

Your advice and Help would be greatly appreciated!

I usully try to have a 1000 calorie deficit, that equals a 2 pound weight loss per week. I think you are definately taking in too little, try increasing your calories and see what happens.
