Help!
Im in dessperate need of some help
.
I have been fat for a long time and im 26st at the moment.
I had womb cancer 3 years ago and managed to lose 7 stone and even did the race for life last year and was enjoying the gym ect.
This year life fell apart for us, hubby has been ill since December and was made redundant in Febuary and i have been sooooo worried about him that my diet crashed big time and im so ashamed of myself ![]()
My life is so full and stressful and im so low but the effects of being so fat are back again and i feel awful !!
I just have no energy left to deal with me but i know if i dont do something soon i may not live much longer.
Im to fat to go for a walk without being laughed at and after 12 years of being used by my only friend i have left myself with no one to talk to.
I would love a friend who was just that ! I make 'friends' easily but there is no one in my area in Bournemouth Uk that i feel i could become close with i know im lucky to have a wonderful hubby but no family left to talk to.
I want to get as much out of the life i have left but just dont have the energy to do it alone anymore.
Some of the members in here who have lost wonderful amounts of weight and got their lives back make me want it more but the lonelyness is very hard to deal with ![]()
I can see it's been rough for you. I sympathise a great deal. But now it's time to look forward - you can't change the past, only the future.
You've taken one huge step, you've asked the good folks of CC to help. What else are you going to do today to help yourself? How about drinking two extra glasses of water? A five minute walk around the living room? Sounds stupid, but every little helps. Start slowly.
You have to start looking after yourself. You deserve to be taken care of and you are the best person to do that. You *are* worth it!
I'm going to message you my MSN details, hopefully we can get together and chat online sometime - we can help each other through this!

This is excellent advice, water alone can help, it makes you feel fuller and helps your body & metabolism. Drink a glass before you have a meal or a snack.
Try eating fiberous veggies/fruit as snacks, they make you feel fuller, and a lot are in the category of fat burners, as you use more calories to digest them than they actualy contain.
I have lost 60lbs and the one thing that has really helped me is to eat slowly, I mean really slowly, chew each mouthful, not only does this help your digestive system, but you actually start to recognise the signs when you are full. I can never finish a meal now, even though I have cut my portions sizes.
Check out the activities calorie count on here, even housework uses calories, give a room a spring clean, wash the car, even preparing veggies for snacks will burn some calories. Use a pedometer to monitor your steps, if you are down on your target wander the house or the garden, even go to the end of the road.
Hope this helps and keep your chin up, you have lost before, you will do it again.
you can do it... small baby steps just like it says above... more water, more movement, less sugary drinks, and processed foods....
