HI,
I'm 24, 5'4". I was 60 kg at the beginning of July and in mid I was 59 then again I'm 60kg. I'm on day 15 of JM 30 day shred and at the same time I do her No more trouble zone exercise as well. I'm doing exercises 7 days a week and shred in the morning and the other evening. I'm eating at the limit. Hardly use sugar also.
The problem I have is I don't lose. Definitely I have lost inches. I'm so worried.
If you have lost inches but not pounds, it usually just means that you are still losing fat, but also gaining muscle, which can sometimes mask your fat loss on the scales.
It's very frustrating not being able to quantify your weight loss, but if you're losing inches then you should just keep doing what you're doing :)
Also, I read somewhere that when you start a weight loss/training program, you sometimes don't lose weight right away because your muscle increases faster than you lose fat. If you stick it out for a few more weeks, you should see changes on the scales. I'm no expert though, you might want to take that with a grain of salt.
Thank you so much! I hope so too. Looking forward to the day that I lose weight!
at 5'4 and 60kg maybe your body is saying "p*ss off, i'm happy where i am"
but i'm not happy with my look. :( I've got a big butt of 39 inches and arms.
unfortunately bodies are designed to work not to be something thats perfect or imperfect.... learn to love all 39ins.
at 60kg your bmi is perfect at 22.7
losing weight beyond this may be very very hard with your body giving you the 2 fingers before it wanders far from its set weight

i'm confused. if the problems IS inches, and you're LOSING inches, then why do you care what the scale says? Weight loss isn't what you need, toning is. Sounds like you're doing great!
I'm doing the shred too -- I LOVE IT! ;D
I love the shred too. It would be great if I can go to my goal weight which is 56kg.
Why can athletes eat so much?
Athletes need adequate calories to offset those they burn in training and competition. They eat to either maintain their body mass or gain muscle... Read more
