I had 2 apple for breakfast and some carrot sticks for lunch but I had a spoon of peanut butter for dinner and i feel really sick right now. Will I burn this or should I go for a run? Im 17 so will my metabolism burn it? I can't go for a run now though becauase I feel weak and dizzy but in the morning maybe?
Reason: promotion of starvation diet and over-exercising
is that all you ate today?
the apple, carrots and the peanutbutter?
because that sounds like MAX 500 calories, maybe less
ever thought that the reason you feel weak and dizzy is because you didn't eat enough today? two apples (maybe 200 cal), carrots (like 10, maybe 20 cal), and a spoon of peanut butter (maybe 200 cal) is probably less than 500 calories and you need at least 2 and a half times that during a regular day. definitely don't worry about burning that off! however, it is possible that your body will go into starvation mode when you consume so few calories, the calories you do consume stick right with you because your body has no idea when the next time it will get food. i would suggest for you to have a protein bar!! at the least!
Calorie-count is all about healthy and sustainable weight management, and we want to have a community where people feel welcome to post and to talk about the issues involved with eating and exercising appropriately ~ to share strategies, encouragement and support ~ within the philosophy of this website and the posting guidelines.
Also, I notice that you are a teenager. Did you know that the calculators here use the adult guidelines? The international standards for teenagers (age 19 and younger) are different because you are still growing. And especially if you are active as an athlete. It's important that you don't go underweight (anything below a bmi of 18.5 as you mature and reach adulthood).
Anyway, here is a calculator with lots of information including calorie information for teenagers. We suggest you read this information carefully and share it with your parents who can help you set up an appropriate meal plan for you, your circumstances and your age and weight:

And here is where you, and your parents, can find information about dealing with eating disorders should you have any concerns or questions about this kind of stuff. I'm not saying that we think you have an eating disorder. But eating such a small amount is essentially starvation and can have dire consequences. It is not medically healthy, and the consequences to your body would be very serious and ultimately can lead to death. So, perhaps you could let your parent(s) or a counselor know if you feel afraid to change your behaviors or if this has become a way of life for you.... Anyway, here's a good link with lots of information about eating disorders...
