A fair amount of it might be water weight (alcohol dehydrates you). Drink a lot of water and get back to your normal calorie intake and burn. This should take care of it. You may have to work on it for a while but don't let it get you down. It's harder to loose weight when you are beating yourself up about at slip up.
I bet the three pounds is fluid weight from the salty pizza and alcohol. For me, when I binge, the harder I try to "reverse it" the more it makes me want to binge again. I would say forgive yourself and move on!
Thanks.. i woke up feeling so guilty after weighin my self in for the day.

One way to avoid that binge is don't deprive your self of the foods you love. You can have pizza, coke and sweets just eat them in moderation. Set one day a week that you can choose anything you want to eat. It does not have to be the same day every week. My calorie limit is 1200 but on that one day that I get I eat probably about 2500 calories. Some people might think this is bad but if it was how did I lose 80lbs. Good luck!!!

The only way to really lose weight is to think about the long term. You have to change the overall pattern of your eating habits. You can't and don't truly gain (or lose) three pounds of body weight overnight.

Start focusing on keeping accurate count of what you eat every day and looking at your weekly average number of calories. Once you've gotten into the habit of a stable weekly average, you can scoot it up to looking at how it averages out over the month. The "analysis" tool is great for an instant check on how you're doing in the current week or month. Aim for slow gradual weight loss--the longer it takes to lose the weight, the longer you'll keep it off. Because the more time you spend losing, the more time you spend learning new habits that will stick with you into the future.
