Hi,
I have recently joined Calorie Count for help and advice in gaining weight. I am 29 years old, 5 ft 4 and I waver around 7 stone (98 pounds). I have never had an eating disorder and I am generally in good health, I have been referred to dieticians in the past and have had all the check ups and blood tests done, all clear. I am fed up with being so thin though, and sick of constant comments regarding my weight (that people seem to think is ok as I am thin not fat!). I am also getting married next year and long to be a healthy looking bride, not a stick walking down the aisle!
I have got so much from reading forums on this site though, it is great to know that there are so many other people out there who get equally upset or annoyed when people comment on my weight - am not alone!
So since joining this, I have bought a set of scales (I was always too scared to weigh myself before, just made me depressed) and am logging everything I eat and drink on here. If I am under my suggested calorie intake in a day, I will eat more to get up to it, and I am already noticing a difference, however small!
Main reason for this message - I take a packed lunch into work with me every day and am looking for inspiration on salad / sandwich ideas that are healthy but high in calories - any suggestions?
