for people that have lost 20+ pounds: how did you do it and how long did it take you? how did you stay motivated?
I lost my first 20 pounds in a little less then a month. I think the only reason i lost it that fast was because I went from eating off doller menus at drive thrus to eating really really healthy and low calorie. I have been staying motivated by making a calender that is on my bath room wall and weighing myself periodicly and writing it on my calender. It is a good feeling to see the number go down and makes ya want to work harder when it goes up.

How nice to meet you. I have lost 28. It took me 3 months (lost 32 and back up 4 on a binge..) I use the food log here every day. I try to reach my calorie target and increase my activity.
I stay motivated because this is a life and death struggle. I have good days and bad days. I just got over a bad week. I was stressing out over money. But that has passed and I am back on track.
The thing is NEVER GIVE UP, NEVER SURRENDER!!! i am looking forward to the day when I can write the "how I lost 160 pounds blog!!!!
