could be slight panic attacks causing heat elevation or hormones.  Best thing to do is call your doctor.  Are you BF'ing?

No I'm not breastfeeding but I did read that it could be anxiety. I'm thinking it could be from all the stress of a new baby and the troubles in my relationship. I have had so much drama these past 5 months, it's ridiculous! I think I may have some anxiety medication but I may have thrown it away because I don't like to take that stuff but I may have to if this is what it is. I'll have to look at home.

I had MAJOR anxiety attacks after my daughter was born. I didn't have the hot, prickly feeling but I'd be unable to fall asleep at night because I was crying from the horrible scenarios that were running through my head. I couldn't even talk to my parents about my issues without breaking down into tears. Turns out, I was having some thyroid issues which may or may not have been messing with my hormone levels.

My doctor was very understanding and said it's rather common. He prescribed me an anti-depressant and an anti-anxiety medication to take after speaking with a psychologist/psychiatrist (my father-in-law is a psychologist and was going to refer me to someone). I never took the medication and never spoke to a psychologist and the anxiety eventually went away (as much as it can when you have kids Wink).

I think you should talk to someone. Your physician is a good place to start and they can always refer you to another, more appropriate doctor if needed.

Good luck!

One of the symptoms of anxiety I read said "deja vu" and this feels like deja vu. I have been afraid alot lately and thinking of different scenarios. I've already seen a therapist while I was on maternity leave and I stopped because it was very expensive and I thought I could handle the issues on my own. All she did was listen, I never really got a solution anyway to keep going.
