I have a birthday party tomorrow and theres going to be chips, dips, hamburgers, hotdogs, brownies, cookies SO MANY TEMPTING FOODS! i have a really hard time with these types of foods because i tend to binge on them.

How can i keep on goal with my weight loss and not over-splurge?

Motivation? Help? Please?

best thing to do since you know there is going to be a party is get as much info about what will be served as possible and plan what you will eat before arriving...

tell yourself, 1 hotdog with 1 bun, 15 doritos, and 1 dessert...either 1 cookie, 1 small brownie, or 1 piece of cake.

enter it into your food log and stick to it. try to spread it out so that you don't eat all your goodies at once, bring gum, drink tons of fluids and don't go to the party extremely hungry. eat a yogurt and a salad or something before arriving. bring fruit with you in your purse if necessary, and make sure not to drink your calories.

good luck and remember to enjoy yourself!!

Hey

Chrissy is right, don't go there hungry, and plan what you are going to eat (chose the things you've been wanting to eat for a while)

And everytime you get tempted, think aboout the satisfaction you get when you weight yourself and have lost weight, or think about how proud of youself you'll be at the end of the party if you stick to your plan.

Also, there's probably gonna be music and people dancing .. be one of those people :)

Of course, enjoy the party, weight loss doesn't mean you can't have fun.

Tell us about it when it's over.
