HELP! Im miserable
Hi Members,
recently my family and I moved overseas. We are a military family and have relocated to Germany. I have always had issues with my weight but before we left our last duty station, thought I had things under control. Now, since moving, I've packed on yet another 10 pounds.
I know I need to make better choices but I just cant seem to find foods that fill me up and dont break my calorie bank.
I workout each day and take weekends off, stay away from the sweets and try my best not to drink cola or diet cola.
I dont know what to do. I feel so helpless and alone. Esp. since moving to a new community where I have absolutely no friends or support. HELP! What can I do?
thanks.
If you browse this website, there are so many good ideas for filling foods. One of my favorite things is to drink a cup of boullion if I feel snacky but don't want the extra calories. I've also found that adding a significant amount of protein to my meals helps me stay fuller longer. I'm not the one to ask about getting healthy, though. I consume like 300% of reccomended daily intake of salt. I figure that once I start eating more healthy foods and drop a good 30-40 lbs, then I'll worry about eating food that doesn't even taste good at all (meaning no salt). If you're just looking for moral support, feel free to add me as a friend and message me any time. I'm 23, living in Michigan, and a college student for one more semester (yay!).
Don't feel alone- there are so many folks out there that can be good motivational buddies for you- I know how the military life can be hard on trying to lose weight- I am a military wife too- but my issue is opposite from you- I am ok with the food- but sure dont like to workout much!! If you ever want to caht feel free to send me a message! I think a great support group will do wonders for your weight loss goals!!
