Well to start with eat more. Seriously only 1k worth of calories? Second up your protein intake, and cut back on fat.

More fiber. The fat is fine, but you should cut back on saturated fat and up your proteins.
Add a few extra portions (4oz each) of vegetables and see what happens to the numbers. Your fibre intake is currently very low and it would improve that. Also, if your carbohydrate choices were not the wholegrain sort, try swapping those. Wholemeal instead of white bread/pasta, brown instead of white rice... that kind of thing.
Treat the CC log as a 'what if' exercise and play around with it to see what happens. Then plan your meals for tomorrow with what you've learned.... That way you can make your diet 'better' rather than simply trying to eat 'less'.
oops, sorry, i forgot to log breakfast, which was 3/4 cup cheerios, a glass of skim milk, and an apple, which explains the low calories.
Thank you for the suggestions. I will try adding more fiber and more protein. I do tend to go for white rice, but for wheat bread. I've never tried brown rice before, but I'll give it a go.
Try swapping the Cheerios another day for a bowl of a high-fibre cereal like muesli or one of the bran flake types or even a bowl of porridge (oatmeal). And do make sure you get at least 5-a-day (decent-size portions) fresh fruit and vegetables. Good luck
Only five grams of fiber? That's not nearly enough to keep you healthy - you're supposed to be having at LEAST 20g of fiber every day. Personally I feel the best at 30. Fiber One is wonderful stuff. One serve only has 60 calories and half the fiber your body needs for an entire day. I'll eat 1/4 cup as a snack just to get more fiber...
well, i tried adding some carrots and a whole wheat bagel instead of the cheerios, and a side of broccoli at dinner, and some more protein, and it upped my grade to an A! I'm so excited :) I have the approval of a computer program! no seriously, guys, thanks for your help. I'll work on keeping this balance. I don't know how successful I'll be, but at least now I know what I need to work on. Again, thanks for the advice.
I'd give you a B- too! 5 GRAMS OF FIBER!! THATS IT! YET YOU ATE MOST OF YOU CALORIES FROM CARBS... Interesting, very interesting... You salt intake is alright... Sugar is a bit high & since I don't think you ate very many veggies or fruit it was probably all added sugar... Your fat grams/percentage is on spot expect I am not sure WHAT TYPE of fat you were eating so if it was saturated or trans then that is not good... Your protein intake is pretty low which is no good because your muscles, hair, nails, skin, etc need protein...
- My recommendations for you: eat more protein from chicken & turkey breast, fish of all types (but make sure it is not FRIED) or free-ranged red meats & eggs... You should also try and eat more fruits (low in sugar) & vegetables (non-starchy preferred) & make sure none of these foods are fried either & to obtain even more fiber you should invest in a hearty WHOLE GRAIN bread or pasta that has more than 3 grams of fiber per serving! Oh and the fat thing... use olive oil, flaxseed oil(after cooking only) & macadamia nut oil & eat a few almonds & walnuts every so often
