HELP! I have my last weigh-in tomorrow...
and my TTOM hasn't started, and I overate this past weekend!
I feel bloated and tired. I feel like I have to exercise almost all day and drink water by the gallon to get rid of this weight.
Hubby & I started this informal weight-loss challenge through his work and you're supposed to report your loss (or gain) every week. This is my last weigh-in and I'm frustrated that I won't be able to report a loss; AGAIN!
I started out 6 weeks ago at 144 (I'm 5'4, small/medium frame), sedentary/mild activity level), eating around 1400 calories/day. I got as low as 138.6 but because of my bad choices over the last week and my impending TTOM I'm back to where I started.
Any encouragement out there?
Hold out! It'll be gone in a week or so. Its just a challenge, so what if you aren't where you should be? Its just water weight anyway. TTOM kinda sucks... Congrats on your 6 pound loss, I doubt you could have eaten 3500x6 calories over your allotment in the past week.
Good Luck!
Thanks, tyrdrop. I know most of it is water weight, I'm just kinda bummed that I'll have to report a gain instead of a loss. Oh well! ![]()
What do you think about my idea of drinking extra water? I don't drink enough anyway (lots of coffee in the a.m. then usually milk & diet soda the rest of the day).
I need to get off my duff and do my DVD too! Logging the calories I burn from that will help keep me motivated too!
Have a blessed day!
Limit your sodium and drink A LOT of water. I think adding a little bit of lemon to your water helps limit water retention as well.
Well I decided to walk the neighbors' dogs instead of doing my DVD, so I didn't burn as many calories. Oh well, maybe I'll get up the gumption later ![]()
OK, off to eat some breakfast and plan the rest of my day. Thanks everyone for your encouragement & suggestions!
Hugs & blessings!
The only encouragment I have is that you aren't the only person who this has happened to. Sometimes weigh ins are so ill-timed. ![]()
But I know you will do better next week, even though the challenge is over!
Thanks, tmck99, I'll just take it in stride!
