aww that happens to me sometimes too, i just try to remember to not "write-off the rest of the day" and just make my next decision healthy, to prevent me from eating even MORE junk later that day/night.... every calorie counts, so if you keep binging until the day is over, you might be twice as worse off as you would have been! haha hang in there :) the bloating will pass...
just shrug it off, it happens to all of us now and then.
successful people don't succeed because they never fail; they succeed because they never give up.
so don't give up . . . just get back on the wagon tomorrow.

Call it a refeed - and just watch and see if the scale doesn't go dramatically downward in the next few days!! That happens to me every now and then. The trick is not to make it a daily habit.
i know exactly how you feel. today I ate around 2500 calories and I usually eat 1300. i've been so good these last few days and now i went and messed it up eating really disgusting fatty food and even worse i ate it at night. I came online and decided to log in everything I ate.. it's such a different feeling to see the calorie numbers so up high : ( I'm very dissappointed with myself, not to mention I feel gross. But I know that I also kind of caused it because I weighed myself today and for w/e reason I was 2 lbs heavier then yesterday even though yesterday I ate a perfect amount of calories. today wasn't even my weigh in. I think the scale definitely sabotaged me today. I'm gonna stay off it until next friday.
One day of too many calories doesn't ruin a diet. Using that big calorie day as an excuse to give up does. Get right back to your healthy lyfestyle and you'll be fine. Successful weight losers are in there for the long haul. They don't let one bad day destroy their good work. Hang in there!
The only reason you feel guilty is because our society has told you, you are bad! That is ridicolous! You need to love yourself right where you are. If you binge, you binge. If you dn't , you don't. We are the frontiers for this. We must say no to the horrific brain washing that has gone on in this society about being over weight! If you are trying to love yourself, you will eventually treat your body better. Over eating, mostly, is about so many things never havint to do with really being hungry. Society doesn't get it. Addicts get more sympathy and understanding then the over weight. It is all about loving the self and ending bad habits. Beating yourself up will continue the cycle. Learn to love yourself just where you are. This will be the beginning of change!
welcome to being normal - since January i give into cravings ONLY after a "random act of kindness" - by the way, the craving usually goes away cause (probably because negative feelings are replaced with positive feelings about myself - but that's just a guess, works for me)
i really agree with little_bitty_bee - instead of looking at a day as "good" or "bad" focus on decisions one at a time - making one bad decision is just that, just strive to make good decisions
You were probably just really hungry, because an average consumption of 1000 cals really isn't very high. I thought 1200 was the minimum.
