Okay it's not midnight, but the kitchen is calling me. I need to resist it! Please give me support! I need help not going to the kitchen and snacking. I'm at my calorie limit for the day...and I don't want to go over. Please help!

Sadly enough, I have the same thing right now, though I'm no really hungry, just craving!
The sad part is that I'm feeling hunger pains. But I shouldn't be feeling hungry! We just finished eating 2 hours ago! I was full when I was finished, and my body is telling me I'm hungry. I need to resist! I need to! I have a cup of hot tea and hopefully I'll battle it! Help!!!!!!!!
I like yogurt w/berries for a "midnight" snack--really seems to fill me up and satisfy for under 100 cals (dannon light & fit vanilla yogurt, usually w/1/2 cup raspberries). Whatever you do, eat something reasonable that you won't feel bad about!
Good luck with your battle! I know you can do it, you are asking for help, so that is a good sign that you have the will power to stay strong. It is hard yes, but you are stronger.

Someone here has a saying "Nothing tastes as good as thin feels" I like that and think of it when I get cravings!

Go drink that tea and keep posting so you mind has something else to worry about!

Thanks you guys. The tea is helping. It's been a while since I've been on the boards. I've been here since April of 2006 and have seriously fallen off the bandwagon recently. But now I'm committed again. I'm going to do this. I lost 40lbs in 6 months before. I want that again. My goal is by the time my pool closes to have lost 10lbs. I'm aiming for a defecit of at least 400 per day. Today's has been 522. And it's the second day in a row! So I know I can do this. It;s just a matter of mastering the cravings when they come. Thanks again guys!

I'm not a swimmer, but I love the pool and I know it's wicked good excersize, so I'm doing that.
I love the pool, too, and only started swimming for "organized" exercise this year (I'm 37!). I took at beginner's swim class at the Y in March, and have been swimming laps for exercise since then. It's GREAT, I LOVE it!
I wish I knew how to swim...I can doggy paddle at best!

I liked blackie's "eat smart" advice. If you need a little cheat (tonight or ever) make sure it's a healthy one!

The tea helped, and I'm also planning out tomorrow, so that helps too. Gives my mind something to do besides eating.

What is better? Tea or an Apple I usually eat apple if I have midnight cravings.
