ive been training for roughly 3 years and my goal was to put on mass and until now there have not really been any drastic results. my real problem is that i work six days a week and study in the day. i have so much to do that it stress's me out and i cant eat and when i do have time to eat i only have small plates (by small i mean regular) and i only really have two meals per day. what id like to know is what can i add to my meals that will really pack on the calories, the ones i need.thanks to any one that can help
What are you eating now? 3 meals and snacks consistently each day one of the most important things.
Meals including carbs, fats, proteins, fruit veggies, dairy.
Adding nutbutters, dried fruits, nuts, seeds are great
Supplements/Homemade drinks can be great too
Check out the weight gain forum "What did you eat today?"
Take almonds or other nuts with you. When you're stressed, grab a handful and chew them until they're dust, they'll digest very easily once they're broken up.
If you don't eat three meals a day I don't know how you expect to put on weight. However, you might like to try GOMAD - gallon of milk a day.

Then you've got no chance of anything changing until you increase to at least three meals a day, regular snacks and bigger plates.... Being busy is no excuse for neglecting your diet. Everyone's busy and it's just a question of prioritising. Work your day around your meals rather than the other way around. Food comes first and everything else is secondary.
It always amazes me that people claim that don't have time to exercise or eat properly yet find time to go onto internet forums, watch tv, play video games, etc. This is NOT meant to sound harsh..truly..you are in the norm. First thing to do is journal your everyday activity..including downtimes...whether it be on the computer, watching tv, talking on the phone...even your bedtime...how long it takes to go to bed...wake up..hrs you sleep...etc. Don't change anything. Just write everything down. THEN...look at the journal after 1 week. Go day to day and you will amaze yourself of the countless hours that you 'wasted' that you definitely could have fit in some snacks, meal, or exercise..whatever the case may be. I'm a very busy person myself..I am constantly working...either at the gym, at clients home's, traveling for work, etc...yet, I manage to work in exercise everywhere I go..as well as keep my nutrition in check. I eat a min. of 6x's a day. It takes some discipline..but you get use to it..then it becomes a habit you don't even have to remind yourself of.
Best of luck.
