Help! Need a new bra size but nothing fits right

If anyone has a similar problem, please recommend a bra brand and style that works for you.

Unfortunatley, my girls have shrunk.  They've always been the squishy, saggy variety.  Maybe you could call them banana boobs.  Anyhow, they were big enough and my rib cage is small enough that the only choice of bra I had was an industrial, re-inforced, totally-not-sexy, granny bra.  Pre-diet size:  32DD (70 E in Europe)

I have to say here that, yes, I have been professionally measured since losing weight to ensure the right bra size.

Now my rib cage is slightly smaller (most of the fat was in my boobs, butt and thighs), and my boobs are down to a 32 C/D (70 in Europe).  I could probably go down to a 31/65, but I don't think they make those; I've never seen one.  Anyhow, they're still squishy and saggy.  I tried on about 20 bras yesterday.  In C sizes, my boobs either flowed unattractively over the top or out the sides, or I felt like any slight movement would send them tumbling over the top.  In the D sizes, there was obviously a bit of extra space in the cup, *cough* on one side in particular.

Considering that they're not firm or perky, what brand and stlye of bra would you recommend?

This website has a great bit about hot to find the right fit and size, What you said it about falling over the top made me think of this as it has a problem solving bit about differant probles like that.

Also I did not think 32DD was that unusual a size.

I know here in the UK Ann Summers sell them.

Anyways hope that helped.

Thanks mousickle.  I didn't think 32DD was that unusual either considering all the tiny women with huge (fake and real) ones.  But try finding a bra in the stores.  In the US Dillard's has the largest selection - maybe three styles last I checked.  I've been wearing the same brand/style of bra for about 5 years now, always bought at Dillard's.  I'm not much for ordering clothing on-line.  I like to try things on first adn not have to send them back.  Vicki's Secret doesn't even carry 32DD.

Thanks again for the link.

That link was really quite helpful... Thanks!

A quick suggestion about the C cup if you haven't solved this on your own, have you tried a bigger band size?  Instead of 32, try a 34 C.  It sounds kind of weird but in some cases it works.

I take a 32 B but pending the bra I'm stuck buying a 34 A, otherwise I'm squished in to all hell. ;)
My fav bra brand is Maidenform. They have a new bra out right now (can't remember the exact name) but it fits awesome. I would say to bring a bunch of sizes and try on everyone to see how best they all fit you. I thought I was a 36C and ends up I am a  34B. Sad but true.

Just Tuesday, I bought a new bra.  I went into Victoria's Secret, picked up 2 different styles in the same size (34B-what I thought was my size) and tried them on.  Neither one fit correctly!  The sales gal came & checked on me & I showed her what they looked like on me & she asked if I had ever been professionally fitted.  Nope, so she measured me & to my surprise, I am a 34-36 C or D!!!  Imagine my shock!!  I've been squeezing my lovely lady lumps into a bra that's WAY too small for who know how long.

Talking about weird sizes, I am a 32G at the moment (32FF at best). I honestly don't know anyone else built like me - I have short legs, large hips, small waist and tiny ribcage and then huge boobs. It's never easy to find clothes that fit!

Here in the UK we have a lovely shop called Bravissimo (bravissimo.com) that caters for larger boobed women, size D up - and they have band sizes as small as 28 inches.

I would not recommend going for a larger band size unless the bra is uncomfortably tight - the band is doing most of the support and needs to fit fairly snuggly.

What a great excuse to take a trip to the UK!  It's only an hour or so flight from here.

Thanks for everyone's responses.  I tried several band sizes and have been professionally measured, both before and after losing weight.  I'll keep searching for 'that' brand and style till I find it.

skp_here82,  I feel your pain...I have a similar body type and I wear a 36 H, which makes it hard to find good supportive bras that are beautiful and don't look like a grandma's!
