Help need the secret for Chicken

Is there anybody out there who knows the secret of getting chicken leg quarters to cook all the way through. (without overcooking them)?

I normaly only cook boneless chicken. But I love the leg quarters.

  • Try adding a little water to the skillet and then adding some seasoning to get it to soak thru the skin faster. I love steak seasoning and grilled chicken seasoning on my grilled chicken. Also if you make sure to cut small slits in the skin then the heat floats thru alot faster almost like a baked potato. Hope that helps.  kimmy245
thanks, and yes it does. I normaly cut the skin off, but can't wrestle with it today.
