Help I need some get me up and go power!
Wow! Why is it when you change your lifestyle it feels like everyone around you don't like it. I have lost 64 pds in five months. My sister was going to the gym with me but she quit and my other sister was loseing weight but now she like why there no point. So I feel all alone on this battle for my health. I don't say I'm on a diet but a lifestyle change. I have about 20 more pds to go and it is getting hard. I need some support. I do go to the gym three days a week and I love it. It a great way to get away and do something good for yourself. I love my new self but it is a emotional change as well. My sister don't want me to talk about nothing about food, gym, how much I have loss. So it has been tough the last few weeks. So I really could use some get me up and go power. So any help or words of encourgement would be a great help. Good luck to all and to the next pd I will lose! ![]()
Oh my gosh, you're so close to your goal! :) Don't let other people affect your motivation, your reasons for getting healthy and fit.
Continue to enjoy the gym! That's great, because so many people seem to struggle to find something physical they actually LIKE doing!
Sometimes, these lifestyle changes can overwhelm you. I know that you need someone to talk to about your successes and your failures, how it was so hard to pass up that piece of cake, or how disappointed you are that you had that second piece of cake. That's what these forums are for...Reach out! I think sometimes since our lifestyle changes are all we think about, they're also the only subject that we talk about. I don't even realize I'm doing it sometimes
.
Congratulations on the 60+ lbs. lost so far! Keep up the great work!
Hey, people get jealous. It's sad, but true. I catch myself doing the same thing. I'm in the zone and addicted to the diet and gym so naturally that's what I think and talk about. Before I/we started this we talked a lot about the dinner we we're having tonight or the beers we we're going to pound this weekend. Don't let it get you down. That's what this site is for. Come talk to us. We'll listen and start talking about the same thing.
Congrats on your success! I've lost 34.4 since late May!! 25-30 left to go.
