During this last weekend I ate a lot and I weight myself on Mondays, I sused to weight 132 lbs and now weight 144 lbs. What is going? can anyone explain this? I seriously doubt to gain over 12 lbs in just TWO DAYS. CAN ANYONE HELP ME?

How much is "a lot"?  Were you at a party or something?  Even there, I doubt it's possible to consume more than a couple pounds of food a day.  You could be retaining weight from water if you have too much sodium.  Don't worry, it is indeed impossible to gain 12 pounds in two days unless you're some sort of competitive eater.

Don't worry,

Like littlebeep said it's really not possible to gain that much in two days. Also, it can depend on what time you weight yourself. If you weigh yourself at night the scale is going to say a higher number than in the morning because the food you've eaten during the day isn't fully digested yet. Also, if you had clothes on they could add another 1-2 pounds.

I did have clothes it was in the afternoon at the gym and I was really surprise to see that much gain. Also I did eat a lot and consume practically all the things I wanted and did not worry about calories for those two days and will the weight come back to my normal weight?

I've had the same thing happen to me, eaten A LOT of junk for a few days and i stepped on the scale the next day and i was 7 lbs heavier! But once u get back on track the water retained is gone (3-4) pounds depending on how much salt u had, and then that heavy unhealthy food tends to sit in your stomach and not digest very well, so you lose that too. You may end up actually only 1 or 2 lbs higher that what u were before. Smile

Aren't you trying to fill out and gain weight?   Keep eating more than normal... sounds like it's working!

Does anyone how long it takes to return to normal weight or if any weight was gained?

You should be fine. The human body fluctates between 3-4 pounds every other day. I concur that it's just sodium and water retention.

thanks,

Just be sure that you do not have a thyroid problem...research the symptoms.

what is that?
