ok. i lost about 10 pounds this summer and was VERY happy with my weight. i am in college and of course, when i came back to school I started to eat out again and gained about 5 pounds back.
i seem to be having the hardest time getting back on track again. i need help. i start off great in the morning, and eat well until the evening when i give up and binge. then i dont go to the gym and its a never ending vicious cycle. can anyone pLEASE tellm e how i can get myself motivated again? i dont feel good or healthy and dont sleep well because i end up eating crap late at night. how do i go back to being discplined but still get the right nutrition i need as a student?
all i really need is advice, some words of wisdom, and a tad bit of motivation. please help. anyone

hey, i dnt really have any words of wisdom, but im in the EXACT same situation as you!! i lost just over ten ponds and since gettin back into work and that, i cant get motivated, and its the evenings that i binge too after being great all day!!
im sorry thats no help to you, but i thought id join in on this post so i could read your replies too, im starting to get very down about this whole eating crap!!
Spesh it is so hard to eat right in college. I know I spent my 4 years (a million years ago) 10 to 12 pounds overweight. One thing I can recommend is don't have any junk in your dorm or apartment. If it's not there, you can't eat it. Another thing you could try is do not skip meals. Make sure you eat well at each meal, plus a few healthy snacks. If you keep yourself satisified, maybe you will be less tempted at night. Also, if you are finding it difficult to go to the gym, try walking everywhere you need to go. Walking is underestimated as an exercise. It can do wonders for you. Lastly, don't be too hard on yourself. You will look back on your college years and remember all the fun. It won't matter so much if you were at your perfect weight or a few pounds over. Enjoy yourself, be safe, learn as much as you can, and have a ball! Good luck.
My advice - forget about your previous diet. Pretend it never happened and start anew. This way, you won't feel like you have 'catching up' to do, or that you're behind in some way. Believe me, this way of thinking helped me LOADS after I fell off the wagon.
Focus on your current weight and where you want to be. Maybe even make a 7-day list detailing your exercise for each day (whichever days you choose to exercise). Then challenge yourself to complete the 1st day, then the 2nd, then 3rd, etc. Then keep making the lists. I've now gathered weeks of successful consecutive diet and exercise days.
I wonder what 'start off great' and 'eat well' looks like? Are you getting a good 60% of your day's calories at breakfast and lunch? Or are you trying to get by on tiny amounts or very low-calorie foods? Evening overeating, sugar cravings and lack of energy for exercise is often a response to day-time starvation and deprivation. If you work out a plan for tomorrow whereby you get a good-size, nutritious breakfast and lunch plus a few healthy snacks you may find you're less likely to overeat later on.
Does your current weight make you clinically overweight? (BMI 25+?)... If not, perhaps you could focus more on maintaining your current weight, improving your diet and getting regular exercise rather than trying to lose.
