Yey!, i've lost 2lbs this week, and im really happy,
i didn't know much about CC before i joined this site, and everybody has shown me and offerered me a lotttt of great information that has helped.
i used to think that eating low Kcals, and doing loads of exercise, would make me slim down.
i joined at 179lb, and now im 177lbs ! so im dead happy.
thank you everyone, however i do have a question, i upped my kcal intake from 1000 to 1500 a day now, but im still burning off about 700 a day, however i am a little confussed on foods that will increase my kcal intake, without eating rubbish and junk food, like at the moment, i'll eat brown bread, brown pasta, brown cereal, fruit, veg, and drink so much water, however it still adds up only to around 1100 kcal, so i eat MORE of it, to eat more Kcals, but is this a good idea?
and what foods do you suggest that would help me without always eating healthy stuff through out the day, and not a set, breakkie, lunch, dinner and snack routine :)

Try adding healthy fats to your diet like nuts, oils, and avocado. They're good for you and are high in calories without very much bulk at all.
if you're eating proper portions you should be starving on 1100 calories. I eat well over 1800 EVERYDAY and i'm 4'11...so look at your choices. here's a sample of a BALANCED meal plan. I find that a lot of people overdo what they think is HEALTHY and their diet becomes terribly imbalanced which is why it might be hard to get to the appropriate number of cals.
B: 1/2 cup oatmeal (dry) [150] 1 cup yogurt [120] 1 banana [100]~~ 370
S: 1oz nuts or trail mix and a string cheese ~ 230
L: 4 oz lean protein [150] 2 slices bread [140] veggies for sandwich [20] ~310
S: apple or orange [75] and a peanut butter toast~235
D: pasta [210] 1/2 cup sauce [70] veggies [50]~ 330

- Health Score of your overall diet
- Warning when you approach your daily calorie limit
- Overview of the good and bad nutrients
