Well i seriously think i have a problem...i always feel really guilty about eating to much and i really obsess over snack foods because i feel like i can eat more for less calories. and im really worried about the negative effects this can have on my body.

I dont know what to do...for example i feel really guilty about what i ate today.

Breakfast: 2 cups of cheerios and half a cup of 2percent milk

Lunch: a mini bag of snyders pretzels

Snack: around 2 servings of macaroni crackers

Dinner: refried beans (1/2 cup or more?) and started to eat a burrito but i feel terrible.

i just dont know what to do...im so scared of gaining weight but im also scared for my health!!!

ANY ADVICE?!

Perhaps you could consult a dietician or nutritionist? If you call your family doctor, they could recommend someone. The nutritionist could help you plan your meals and you will know exactly what you need to be healthy. You would never need to feel guilty. Good luck!

Wow, you must be really hungry.  Where are the fruits and vegetables?  You can eat tons of that and not feel guilty at all.  It easy too, you don't even have to cook them.   Try those little snack bags of carrots, or some celery, a few grape tomatoes.  What you have listed is mostly sugar in the form of starch.  Sugar in the Cherieos and milk. Lactase is a sugar. Pretzels are all starch and salt, crackers are more of the same.  Only the beans actually looks like real food.  You should have eaten the burrito, especially if it had meat in it.  You're body needs real nutrition and the majority of what you eat should be vegetable in nature.  good luck

Please find the nutrition forum on this site and read it!  Your diet is a prescription for weight gain not lose.  You can't do this for long and there is no need.  Lots of good healthy food out there, you must find it!  Good luck!

This is EXACTLY where I was when I came here.

Calm down, start logging.

You'll know EXACTLY what you ate, and how much of it.  You couldn't have had nearly enough calories on what you ate yesterday.  The guilt takes awhile to go away but right now it's like you have an eating disorder, and you don't want to go down that road.  And, exercise is important, so if you can, try to do 30 minutes to an hour a day of some sort.  Use CC's tool to figure out how many calories you burn each day, then shoot for 500-1000 less than that - but don't go under 1200 calories ANY day.

thankyou. =]

I wouldn't worry too much about it, but from looking at what you ate, you need to choose healthier foods, the amounts aren't really overdone. But it's not a balanced healthy diet. You need more fruit and vegetables. As from what you wrote most of what you're eating is starchy foods and foods full of carbohydrates. Which are important, but in too large quantities have a lot of calories and make you gain weight. I've found this site very helpful to count my calorie intake as well as grade the nutrtion value of what I eat. You should check it out.

I can assure you that at 5'2" and 98lbs as you posted on one of your other threads that you do not need to be losing weight.  How old are you?  You're either in a normal growth pattern if you're in your early teens and should expect to gain weight and possibly height or you're probably underweight if you're in your late teens or early 20s.

Your food choices appear to leave something to be desired both in nutrition and in calorie count.  A bag of mini pretzels is not lunch, it is a snack.  A 1/2 cup of refried beans is not sufficient calories or nutrition for dinner.

You say that you're scared of gaining weight, why is that?  Why are you scared for your health?  Have you experienced health issues previously?
