ive had about 750 calories so far..trying not to pass 1200. I am going to eat 350 for dinner in a few hours...but I need a 100 calorie snack desperately right now. which is healthier... two turkey sausage links (the healthy kind, about 80 calories) or one 70 calorie whole grain waffle with no syrup or butter?

I'd go with the sausage since there is not a lot of carbs. I try to lay off carbs at night and stick to my biggest carb meal of oatmeal in the morning. That way I have all day to burn it off.

Go with the sausage--the crash from the carbs in the waffle might make you hungrier later.

Go with the sausage. The protein will satisfy you longer.

 Actually, Jordyn looks to be a teen.  If so, then 1200 is indeed too little.

Jordyn, 1200 is the bare minimum for a grown adult woman.  It's 1500 for men.  For teens you need to add 300.  Therefore, as a female teen, you need to be eating 1500.  Once again, this is the bare bones minimum.  If you are active, you will need even more than that.

Please remember that Calorie Count is dedicated to healthy weight management.  Undereating as a teen for extended periods of time can cause the body to not develop fully, along with a whole host of other problems.  I've got links if you would like them.
