I made a veggie/hummus sandwich in the dining hall today with a bread I haven't tried before. I couldn't get a good look at the bag because there were people in line behind me... all I know was that it is 83 cals per slice, "no seeds", and had a name like stoffers. I want to be able to log it, but also possibly find it again at the store because usually my bread is 110 cals per slice, but this stuff tastes just as good. Any help?

if it's mainly the calories you are concerned about in logging, just put in ".75 slice" (83/110) instead of a whole slice of the bread you usually eat and it will come out right. as for finding it at the store, someone else will have to help you with that!
I only know of Stouffer's who makes frozen dinners. It seems worth it to ask someone on staff to confirm what the brand and manufacturer names are.
Hmm, I'll probably do that or maybe they will have the same type of bread again at dinner-- never noticed it before, though. Thanks.
feanor, could it have been a sprouted grain bread? they're made without flour and are lower in calories. i bought one by accident the other day and can't tell the difference. it was expensive, though....
not sure what the bread is but I just found an amazing bagel called Western Bagel that is only 100 calories for whole bagel and it has protein and fiber in it....it gets an A on our calorie list..very good too! Good luck finding your bread.
What the heck, where is this western bagel?? Even if it is smaller than a normal bagel, I would love to have one that is only 100cal. Bagels were one of the hardest foods for me to give up. Now I have a NEW search..
edit; Aw, they don't have them in my state.
Ezeikel live grain bread is great. Its flourless, delicious and 80 calories a slice packed with protein and fiber. Not sure about Stoffers but this "Food for Life" Ezeikel bread is great.
Hope this helps. I could live on carbs.
