You know that muscle weighs more than fat, right? So, if you're lifting weights, and gaining muscle, and eating healthier.. and gaining weight.. in this instance it's a good thing.

WHY is 110 your magic number? Why aren't you happy with 125 or 130?

18th percentile means that 18% of girls your age are lighter than you and 82% are heavier.   Your BMI is 19.8 which is very low.  A normal healthy weight range is between BMI 20 and 25.  Below a BMI of 19 is when medical problems are likely to emergy.  Below a BMI of 18.5 and you're 'clinically underweight'.

Since bodies will fight tooth and nail to be a healthy weight I suspect what's happening is that you're asking your body to be too low a weight..... 120lbs is still a very low weight for someone 5'5".  Maybe learning to like the body you've got rather than being constantly dissatisfied would help you find som peace of mind rather than being irrationally 'irritable'.

Cellulite is less pronounced when you have a 'clean' diet.. i.e one with few processed foods, little salt and artificial colours, and one with plenty of fluids.  If you already have an organic diet etc., and you still have cellulite then - like 90% of women - you're rather stuck with it.  Another thing to learn to love?

reye please understand I think they are just concerned because many young ladies such as yourself have eating disorders and dealing with self image.

Hi Reye. I understand you. I also carry weight a bit oddly you see. I am 19 on the BMI and 136 lbs and 5 ft 11" with it. That’s fine for me now - but I still have a podgy belly! I don’t believe all these people waxing on about your body not letting you lose any more weight because it wants to be healthy. It is simple - if you eat less energy that your body needs and you create a deficit then you will lose weight. In answer to your initial question - which many have overlooked - I understand that also! I find it is water retention with me. Try drinking plenty - then plenty more - water. If you have increased your fibre intake significantly then you will definitely need to increase the water volume - or you just will not shift waste out of your body and that increases your weight! In concern to the cellulite… spinning. I found that worked. You've given up the running which is fantastic for it so try spinning. It's hard work but boy is it worth it. Good luck x
