Yes, it is normal. It's just part of hormone changes. How old are you?
It sounds like it might be what is called cervical mucus, and it is completely normal (part of a woman's natural fertility cycle).
It would help to know your age to get more specific.

It does sound normal. This is your vagina's natural secretions, which keeps it clean and healthy. Some women have more discharge than others. You usually only must worry when a foul or unpleasant smell is associated with the discharge, or the consistency is lumpy like cottage cheese, or if it is an unhealty color like dark yellow or green.
By the way, the consistency of your discharge will change throughout your monthly cycle. This is fueled by your own hormonal changes. Usually the thin, jelly-like consistency means that you are at the most fertile part of your reproductive cycle.

Thank you all for this information. i am 19 yrs old.
monthly discharge is normal and varies from woman to woman.. i never had it as a younger teen but around your age, i noticed it more.. just carry panty liners and wear breathable underwear to avoid yeast infections.. i have had many of them and you DONT want that.... very painful and can lead to more problems... oh the joys of life as a woman!
i have that like every day. it sux i dont no what it is and i dont no how to get rid of it im 16 i had it about like a year. someone tell me what it is and how to fix it please?!!!
If it's normal vaginal secretions as part of the normal reproductive cycle (ie: cervical mucus), then there is nothing to be fixed. It will continue for as long as you are fertile.
There might be a way to reduce it via birth control or hormones, but there's really not a need since it is not indicative of a harmful condition.

personally i hate it, argh! BUT when i went on the depo injection and my periods stopped (and i went to america so no sex) it stopped completely so far its been 1 year and 9 months of no discharge!!!! woohoo of course its also been 1 year of no periods either - im soo happy :o) of course that will all come back soon enough as i hvant been on the jab for 9 months now. however what everyone said is true, its normal and natural just keep an eye on it make sure its consistancy doesnt change, if it does then see a doc as you may have an infection.
