What will help my yucky belly? (yucky content)

Quote  |  Reply

I literally just got hit...closer to bulldozed, actually, by cramps, followd by some awesome diareah, and just came the closest to vomiting i've been in years.  I've taken some pepto, have been drinking water, but i still feel gross.

I have a fear of vomit...is there anything I can eat/drink that'll make me feel better?

Sounds like me during my period before starting the pill.  What worked for me was pepto, tums, and a package of saltine crackers.  My aunt swears by 7up, but the carbonation always seemed to upset my stomach more than settle it.  I guess everyone has something different that works for them.  Sorry to not be of much help.

The only legal thing that has ever helped me with nausea has been ginger.  You can make tea with it or just get creative and mix it into something else.

I've heard bland foods like rice and oats help with diarrhea and also help with nausea because they are so bland that they won't trigger a reflux!

I hope you feel better! I have been feeling a bit nauseous lately so I know how you feel - Yucky!

I've found that ginger, candied or powdered, really helps. I dump powdered ginger on dry toast, then add some sugar to help with how much it burns.
