Here's some motivation! Before and after photos (if you have some, post some too!)
The track to weight loss is long and grueling, but it's so satisfying to actually be able to see the results as solid proof of your labor. Over the past 8 months I personally have taken up running, and what a difference it has made! I took pictures each month so that I would be able to prove to myself what a difference a good diet and exercise routine does for one's body. So I figured I would make a topic so that we could all chronicle the progression of our individual goals~
Here are my photos of progression

Wow you go girl, your so toned and very beautiful before and after, but know you have more of an athletic body now, corh you have a tummy to die for you must be so proud, well done, what I would do for a tum like that, unfortunetly I was morbidly obese and now have stretch marks that now I have slimmed down have gone paler but wrinkly on my stomach, I also have a bit of hang on my arms and stretch marks, but as my partner keeps reminding me its part of me and the journey Ive been on that figures as it looked before it calmed down the stretchmarks a map of the tube trains of london lol, but wouldn't change myself with plastic surgery. I have learnt to except myself. I also can not excersise much due to my M.E so its harder for me to train or run as much as I like without a flare up.
Heres my before and after photos, to get them so they do no go out of proportion you have to right click and open link in new window or tab.http://caloriecount.about.com/pics/astralhipp yI have lost 115 pounds so far.

wow! The three of you have done a phenomenal job! Just thought I'd let you know that you're all definitely my inspiration of the month! Also, I didn't want to take any before pictures of my body unless it was completely covered. I think this gives me the incentive to be a little more honest in my photos. I see now how it can make success all the sweeter!
Great job!
wow =D

Wooow the change is amazing, especially when comparing the 4 months picture to the 8 months pic.
If you don't mind me asking, how much did you run, and how often? Because whatever you did it definitely worked and has motivated me!
Holy...
You have all done so freaking wonderful!
Honestly I wasn't expecting to be so inspired by other people's pictures, but you are a bunch who TRULY worked hard! It's so great, and almost tear jerking! Phewf!
Well here are mine. 180 to 135ish in exactly 12 months tomorrow. A long and grueling process for us ladies. I'm still trying to lose some of unhealthy looking fat on me and I do believe after reading this post that running might be the key!
Thank you for your work on yourself. Only with that can you be an example to others. Your dedication is acknowledged and much appreciated.

Wow!!! You look amazing!!! Honestly that was my weight when I was like 17 (135) Now I'm 26 and weight 175pounds so my goal is to reach 130punds in 6 months. Do you think is possible? I really like exercising but I HATE DIETING! I love food but I know carbs make me fat. I gained like 20 pounds when I was in Italy for 3 months bcs I ate pasta EVERY SINGLE DAY! :S so when I came back, I took out pasta, white bread and potatoes from my diet the first couple of months and I did loose like 15 pounds, but now I'm "stuck" bcs I can't loose any more weight. :(
Do you have any suggestions for me to loose weight???
Good Job Girl!!! ;) How did your diet look like? I also run like 2-3 times per week and just started going to spinning classes twice a week but I'am struggling with my diet. I don't know where I'm going wrong! I usually have fruit salad for breakfast, or eggs with ham & 2 tortillas. For lunch turkey sandwich or chicken breast sadwich. For dinner; chicken, shrimp, tuna or salmon with veggies and rice. I am not dinking sodas or eating pasta and or white bread. Any suggestions???
I would recommend personally less bread. It seems you eat a lot of it, with sandwiches and all. Doughy substances really affect digestion and the ability to poop more frequently, which is a key part in weight loss in my opinion. You need to be able to get rid of the toxins from the food you eat and what it takes out of your body as fast as possible. Bread kind of hinders that...for me at least. I don't know if those are facts or not.
Maybe try like...a chicken caesar salad instead of a chicken sandwich? The lettuce or spinach or kale or whatever you choose to use for greens is extremely high in fiber and will burn more through digestion than the actual greens have in calories (negative calorie effect).
Also stray from juices, which are quite processed and they lack vitamins from the original fruit peeling and are added sugar. Juices gave me the affect of health when really it was just my attachment to sugary stuff. I drink now only water and after meals I drink tea- the heated drink breaks up fat in the body after a meal and also aids in digestion.
