Heres a question...
My BMI is 24 ( so im a bit overweight) but would breast size have any affect on that? a lot of my friends say that im being ridiculous when i try to tell them that i want to lose weight, my guess is that its just them trying to make me feel better. But a few of them have brought up my breast size as a factor because im a D and apparently thats above average for my size. help???
LOL I really can't answer the question....but I've always wondered about that as well. How the heck do they factor that in? I wear a DD and there is no way I can have the same bmi as someone the same weight/height but w either b cups or even I cups!
I am also a DD. I have divots on my shoulders from the straps on my bra! And after a mammogram, the Doctor tried to convince me I had a lump. I made an appointment with the head of the radiology dept for our Hospital and she did more tests and told me that some women just had dense muscle tissue.
In fact each of my breasts weight in at nearly 4 lbs. Thats 8 lbs of weight that will not change no matter how much I diet and exercise. (Well, maybe it would change but I'm afraid it would only make them larger! LOL)
Try to focus on the correct way healthy body parts should look. Firm, not dimpled or sagging. I have clothes in my closet right now that fit fine and because of different manufacturers, they range from size 10 to size 14.
If your BMI is 24, you are not a bit or a lot or in any way overweight, by definition! You are in the lovely "correct" range. But you can still lose weight if you want to as you've got some leeway there.
I'm a 32DD, so yeah, I think it makes us weigh more. I'm also "curvy" in shape - got hips, go in and out - some people are just straight up and down so there's a difference there.
My boyfriend says my massive ego probably weighs 12 lb alone. I throw things at him.
