I would assume that a lot of people on here have heard of the show The Biggest Loser. Well, I was fortunate enough to be chosen for season 3, the season where there was someone from every state. I am Bobby from Tennessee. The show without question changed my life. I learned so much from that. I was able to lose 95 lbs by the show finale. I have been home for 2 years now and have been able to keep most the weight off with some fluctuation. It is an ongoing struggle and will be for the rest of my life. I need things like calorie count to help keep me in check. There were no gimmicks or quick fixes to this process. It is all about eating right and exercise, exercise, exercise. If I can help anyone out, just post and I will tell you what has worked for me.
Bobby
Congratulations on losing 95 lbs. That's amazing! I've lost 60 pounds but I'm really struggling with the last 45. How did you stay motivated? I need all the tips I can get.

Welcome, Bobby! I love that show!
Congrats on losing all that weight. I look forward to reading about your struggles and successes.
This is a wonderful bunch of people who are always willing to listen and try to help. I bet you fit right in.
Congrats on your loss! I love that show.
That's so cool! I love that show as well. I never watched it until after I began my weight loss journey this year. I went back and watched your season not that long ago and you were great! I'm very glad to hear that you've been able to maintain your loss. I know that's a very challenging thing to do. I just have to ask, are Bob and Jillian really as awesome as they seem? I've been exercising like crazy during this process, much more than ever before in my life, and I'm becoming an exercise geek. I'd totally love to work out with them. Anyway, welcome to CC. This place has been a lifeline to me and is so helpful and encouraging. Counting calories and exercising is the only thing I've ever tried to lose weight that actually works. Welcome!
wow! you look GREAT! congratulations on the weight loss, its a huge motivation. keep up the good work, and welcome!
Wow, I am so jealous!! I wanted to be on the Biggest Loser SOOOO bad last season because I had reached 250lbs after pregnancy. I was too late on casting calls... so I decided to watch the show and learn from then. I didn't miss one episode of season 6 :) Now I am at 183 (lost 67lbs), and I've only been doing this for around 6 months... yeah baby!!!
Congratulations on your weight loss and thanks for helping us here who aren't as informed! Trainers and nutritionists are EXPENSIVE, so we definitely appreciate any advice!!
I'd be interested in hearing about the show from an insider's perspective. Is it realistic to go from 6 hours a day working out back to everyday life and keep all the weight off? Is it healthy to lose that much weight in such a short period of time? Why don't any of the contestants have loose skin, when they drop 100 lbs in 3 months? Curious...
congrats bobby! i'm curious about the show too...i watched the first couple (i'm not sure how many there have been?) seasons but not this past one. i did watch yours tho! i love that show....how many hours per day did you workout? how did you like the trainers?
