Im 6' 5" and a heavy 289. i put on a lot of weight 2 years ago when my wife deployed to afghanistan. she is the health consious one, so when she left it was lots of beer and fried chicken and burger king for me. and when she got back it was worse, because she had gone with out alchol and taco bell for a year, it was on. just pure glutonus eating for a month. that was 2 years ago. we had been talking about me going on a diet, but i wanted to put it off. well we decided to be "bad" again for V-day. well i gaind another 10 pounds this weekend. its time for change.
i just turned 30, and 2 weeks later i threw out my back. dont know what i did, but i got out of bed one morning and could barely move. so the sooner i can lose 40 lbs the better i will be.
the worst thing is with my back injury it could take weeks or more to get better. and as a cabinet maker...well lets just say that my shop will be quiet for a while. which is worse, because i will want to get out there and do something so im not sitting around getting fatter, but that will hinder the healing process.
