Hi, my name is Pam. I'm trying to get in shape and eat healthier. I would like to lose about 15 pounds. I have never tried dieting or exercising in the past, because I used to be extremely skinny. As I got older my metabolism has slowed down, and I am realizing I no longer can eat whatever I want and not gain weight. I weigh 148 right now and I'm 5'4. I want to get a hold of this, before it gets out of control. I just want to feel better about myself.
Hi Pam My name is Carmel I am in the same boat as you I use to be able to eat anything I wanted and it never had any bad affects. But now I have slowly added a few lbs every year.... I need to control this before it becomes a big issue.... I have gotten rid of all the bad food in the house and replaced it with low cal food that has helped and I bike ride as much as I can. It seems to burn more cals than walking.... I tell my self this every day I know its hard but I do feel better when the lbs come off.... Good luck with your challange I have learned just stick with it..... I am one to talk because I get it off keep it off for a year or two then here we go again..... But if you don't let it get too far out of control its do-able.....
