Hey!

Hi!

I've been on this diet and that diet since I can remember! I've decided to finally do it the 'right' way and see what happens.

I feel kind of silly though as I'm a little confused about the cals consumed/burned. For me (25 yo, 5'8', 220lbs), CC says my eat meter is 2250cals and burn meter is 2500...I feel a little dumb here, but what?! Anyone able to explain this to me better?

Thanks!

Nichole

Your burn meter shows you how many calories you have burned so far today.  It keeps a running total,  so each time you refresh it you should see it go up little by little.  If you add an activity, like a workout,  it will add those calories burned to your burn meter.   For example, if you go for a bike ride and burn 500 calories,  add that to your activity log and your burn meter will increase by 500.   Pretty simple.

Your eat meter increases each time you add a food to your food log.   It keeps a running total of the number of calories that you've taken in.   Eat a banana,  log it in and your eat meter will increase by the number of calories in that banana.

The idea here is that you want to burn more calories than you eat.   So with the two meters side by side you can see what you've taken in vs. what you've burned.  Your goal is to have a caloric deficit, burn more than you eat.

Hope that helps.

:)
